The Call to Prayer.. Between Love and Hatred

... In the light of some western governments and municipalities allowing the call to prayer in mosques during the holy month of Ramadan, and specifically the sunset call for prayer, (called " Azan Al Maghrib" in Arabic), along with that voice of call to prayer, unfortunately, so many voices, in varying tones of anger and upset, raised here and there in opposition to the western spiritual gesture that no doubt, came to express the great values of tolerance, diversity and citizenship under the umbrella of one homeland and the umbrella of humanity, especially that the western high spirit and the Canadian initiative have coincided with the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, while the gates of heaven are being knocked on and headed with reverence from far and wide in the hope of curbing that pandemic which has confused and panicked all scientists and political leaders, not to mention all mankind on earth.
Kindly, allow me to direct this friendly word to the opponents of "Azan" , and say: If your objection to the calling to prayer ( Azan), is a matter of a positive jealousy to ask for equal rights and show your own rituals as well as rituals of all other people's religions and beliefs, then I totally believe that you have the right to demand from your governments, whether in Canada, Europe or in any other country in the world to regulate the showing and announcing of your own rituals as well.
So let all birds chant,.. and let all Churches' bells harmoniously ring,.. and let the Psalms of Prophet David, peace be upon him, be heard and listened to,.. and let the rituals of all tolerant practices and beliefs sound soft and clear,.. and let each of us approach our Creator, His Almighty, in a way that pleases our souls, hearts and consciences, especially in these difficult and critical times that everyone goes through.
But if some people have objection to "Azan" based on Islamophobia, or based on the fear of the widespread of Islam in the Western world, then I should remind those that the Western countries, in general, maintain a secular fancy and a political doctrine.
Thanks Lord, that the democratic countries, whether liberal or conservative, such as Canada, are always there for their citizens on all occasions, and that all their communities and minorities have the same rights, and respects.
In the west, people's feasts, beliefs and ritual occasions are boasted by the governments on an equal bases of respect, diversity and tolerance.
As a Canadian citizen, I strongly believe that this is the secret of the strength and greatness of the social mosaic fabric in Canada, and here lies the secret of the world's admiration in our great homeland, Canada.
Dear opponents in Canada and everywhere, please do not panic,... and do not be sad and rest assure, because in Canada, religion is ALWAYS for God.., and CANADA, our Homeland, is ALWAYS for all.

رفع الآذان.. بين الحب والكراهية

... على ضوء سماح بعض المدن الغربية برفع الآذان في المساجد والمُصليات خلال شهر رمضان المبارك وربما تحديداً آذان المغرب، ارتفع مع صوت الآذان، أصوات بنبرات متفاوتة، مناهضة لهذه البادرة الغربية التي تعبر عن قيم التسامح والتآخي تحت مظلة الوطن الواحد بل ومظلة الإنسانية جمعاءً، وخاصةً وأن نفحات هذه البادرة تزامنت مع تفشي جائحة كورونا، حيث أبواب السماء تُقرع وتُقصد من كل حدب وصوب ومن كل الزوايا والأطراف أملاً في كبح جماح هذه الجائحة التي أربكت وأعيت علماء وساسة الأرض والناس مجتمعين.
أود أن أوجه مقالتي الودية هذه للأخوة أصحاب الأصوات المناهضة، لأقول لهم: إن كان إعتراضكم على رفع الآذن هو من باب الغيرة على إظهار شعائركم وشعائر الأديان الأخرى، فأعتقد أنه من حقكم مطالبة حكوماتكم سواء في كندا أو أوروبا أو أي بلد آخر للمعاملة بالمثل، فلتُقرع أجراس الكنائس، ولتُسمع مزامير النبي داوود عليه السلام، ولتظهر طقوس كل الشرائع السمحة، وليتقرب كل منا إلى خالقه بالطريقة التي أرتضاها لقلبه ووجدانه وخاصة في هذه الأوقات العصيبة على الجميع.
ولكن إن كان إعتراض البعض على رفع الآذان هو من منطلق مخلفات القرون الوسطى والخوف من إنتشار الإسلام في بلاد الغرب أكثر مما هو منتشر، فأعتقد بأن الدول الغربية وشعوبها بالمجمل هي علمانية الهوى وسياسية المذهب، وأعتدنا في بلاد الحريات مثل كندا أنها تلازم مواطنيها في كل المناسبات، وجميع الجاليات والأقليات عندها سواء، وتحتفي بهم جميعاً بلا استثناء كأسنان المشط الواحد، وهذا سر قوة نسيجها الإجتماعي وعظمتها وإعجاب شعوب العالم بها.
أيها الأحبة.. لا تخافوا.. ولا تحزنوا.. ففي كندا دوماً، الدين لله والوطن للجميع.
